Redirects: questions

Do I still need the Redirection plugin?

Not for most sites. Import your redirects from Redirection, check them, then deactivate it.

Which status code should I use?

Use 301 for a page that moved for good, and 302 or 307 for a temporary move.

Can I log 404 errors?
