Free
Alt text for every image, without the busywork
RankFlect SEO fills in alt text and titles from file names when you upload, fills missing alt text in bulk, and can ask your AI provider to describe an image when a file name is not enough.
What it does
Image SEO
- Readable alt text, titles and (optionally) captions from file names on upload.
- A Media Library bulk action and a one-click fill for images without alt text.
- A list of images missing alt text, to fix one by one.
- AI alt text that looks at the image when your model supports vision.
- Missing alt text also shows in the content analysis and the site audit.
How it works
Three steps
- 1
Upload as usual
New images get readable alt text and a title from the file name.
- 2
Fill the gaps
Use the bulk action or the one-click fill for older images without alt text.
- 3
Describe what matters
For key images, generate alt text with AI and edit it before saving.

FAQ
Image SEO: questions
Does it change alt text in posts I already published?
No. The upload settings only fill empty alt text on new uploads, and the bulk fill only fills images in the Media Library that have no alt text. Images already inserted into a post keep the alt text stored in that post.
Can I turn off alt text from file names?
Yes. Turn off Write alt text for new images on RankFlect SEO → Image SEO, or switch off the Image SEO module to stop all of it.
Do I need AI for alt text?
No. File-name alt text works without AI. AI is optional, for images that need a real description.
